  • Create Scratch programs to make sprites move:
    • Go to the Scratch website, sign in, and complete the tutorials, in order, to learn various ways to move a sprite. Make sure to share each of your Scratch projects when you finish it and add it to your Move studio.
      1. Key moves: Video Tutorial / Scratch Card
        Add instructions to your project on the Project page that tells users they need to use the arrow keys to move your sprite.
      2. Follow the mouse: Video Tutorial / Scratch Card
        Add instructions to your project on the Project page that tells users that they should move their mouse and the sprite will follow.
      3. Glide: Video Tutorial / Scratch Card

        NOTE: This one is not complete unless you have a background and you are using a sprite other than the Scratch Cat and you have your sprite spinning in both directions.

        Add instructions to your project on the Project page that tells users they need to press the space bar to make your sprite change color.
      7. Dance Twist: Scratch Card
        Instead of the "D" Key, make this start when the green flag is clicked OR make sure you add instructions on how to run this when you share your project.
      8. Animate It: Scratch Card
        You may use any sprite with only one costume but make sure to change the name of the costumes in your animation.
      9. Grow & Shrink - Create a project where when someone clicks the green flag, a sprite will forever get bigger, go back to the regular size, get smaller, and go back to the regular size. You should have a wait block after each time your sprite changes size.
